QUISS

The assessment instrument of ISSUE is the Student Survey Questionnaire. It was developed by the Research Group on Higher Education at the University of Konstanz.

The English version, called QUISS III – QUESTIONNAIRE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SURVEY, is based on the German version distributed in 2012/2013. Over time, the questionnaire has been extended by additional indicators such as study quality and questions about the European Higher Education Area.

A former international version, used during the first cooperation of the Reseau Uni 21 of FREREF by the three research groups of Grenoble, Barcelona and Konstanz, is presented in French (based on the questionnaire of 2000/2001).

The Instrument of the Student Survey consists of different modules that may be used for further investigations of the respective institute. The instrument contains about sixteen of such modules including questions pertaining to access to higher education, motivation and expectations, study and teaching quality, contacts and communication, image of the Bachelor degree, and aims and transitions of the European Higher Education Area. The modules are presented in German, English, and French.
