dilemma’’ at the “Critical Statelessness Studies Blog” by the University of Melbourne.

Judith Beyer, who holds the professorship of Social and Political Anthropology at the University of Konstanz, receives this year’s Tina-Ulmer-Teaching-Award that honours outstanding merits and innovative achievements in teaching. In the last years, Beyer led research projects that were accomplished by students of Anthropology and Sociology in the city of Konstanz. The Mid-Term Meeting of the DGSKA Working Group Anthropology of Religion: "Religious Diasporas - Religion and Politics", will take place from 13-14 October 2022 at Bischofsvilla Konstanz.

Judith Beyer published a chapter on „Law“ in Central Asia: Contexts for Understanding -- the most comprehensive introduction to the region available for students and general readers alike“. The book came out with the University of Pittsburgh Press.

Collaboratively, Prof Dr Judith Beyer and Dr Lena Rose organize the panel Panel "Hope and Transformation in a Context of Uncommoning: Battles Over Plausibility and Credibility in Asylum Procedures in Europe" for the 2022 EASA conference in Belfast.

The workshop "Statelessness. A Dialogue" will take place from 11 June to 23 June 2022. The event is organised by Prof Dr Judith Beyer und and Jessica Schmieder, M.A. and is part of a course in the master's programme "Anthropology and Sociology".

Prof. Dr. Judith Beyer will talk about "Crisis, Activism and Kom’iuniti. The New Feminist Movement in Kyrgyzstan"at the University of Naples within the context of the conference "Explaining Crisis beyond Chaos: the Middle East and North Africa in Global Change".
