Judith Beyer and Felix Girke on state terror in Myanmar
Judith Beyer and Felix Girke published a commentary in the German journal “Blätter für deutsche und internationale Politik“ [Journal for German and International Politics].
The experts on Myanmar are giving a retrospect on the government history of the country since the 1920s and the civil disobedience movements connected with it. They explain how the constitution allows the military to stay in power. Although the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) is digitally widely connected, Beyer and Girke consider the situation Myanmar to be a Herculean task.
