The establishment and development of ISSUE would not have possible without the activities of the FREREF. The FREREF is of major importance for the European Higher Education Area because it fosters educational research with public interest.
The Reseau Uni 21, which is part of the FREREF, was at first moderated by our French colleagues in Grenoble. Currently, the German Research Group on Higher Education in Konstanz welcomes the opportunity to moderate the Reseau Uni 21 since it is not only important to report on current activities and results, but also because it has developed the platform for ISSUE.
Contacts and cooperation exist with the Summer University for LLL (Life-Long-Learning), especially concerning topics of practical experiences, transition to the labour market, career at a university, and problems of further education at universities.
