The student survey is a survey of students at German universities on the study situation and student orientations. It was developed in the early 1980s by the research group on higher education at the University of Konstanz. The first survey took place in the winter semester 1982/83, further surveys were carried out at intervals of 2-3 years. In WS 2015/16 the 13th survey was conducted. The project has been funded by the federal ministry of education and research since the beginning. Further information on the 13 surveys can be found in the sub-item surveys from 1982-2017.
All data of the Student Survey were reprocessed in 2021 and sent to the FDZ of the DZHW. They were published there at the beginning of April 2022 and are thus available for analysis. Detailed information can be found in the press release (in German language) of the DZHW and in the press release (in German language) of the University of Konstanz from April 2022.
After 2017, the student survey was restructured and transformed into the joint project "One for All. The Student Survey in Germany".
