Welcome to the website of the Research Group on Higher Education.

The Research Group on Higher Education investigates the study situation and student orientations at German universities. From 1982 to 2017, it conducted the Student Survey every two to three years. From 2018 to 2024, the Research Group on Higher Education is a collaborative partner of the DZHW and the DSW in an integrated nationwide survey project ("One for All") - funded by the BMBF. Since June 2024, it has been researching current challenges faced by students at German universities.
