Request for recognition of credits for BA Sociology students
On this page you can apply for the credit recognition of your study and examination achievements in the subject Bachelor Sociology (minor or major subject) by using the online form, e.g. when changing universities or after studying abroad. Recognition is only possible until the end of the first semester after enrolment in Sociology at the University of Konstanz or after returning from your host university.
You will need to upload your documents in electronic form (pdf, max. 3 MB):
- Transcript / certificate of the achievements to be recognized
- current transcript of records of the University of Konstanz
- for Erasmus+ also Confirmation of Stay
- any documents with additional information on workload, topics, content and examination form
- The most recent version of the Learning Agreement

Important note
Request for recognition of credits for the MA Sociology as well as the MA Anthropology and Sociology can be requested from the Student Advisory Service, Andreas Romer: studienberatung.soziologie@uni-konstanz.de.
Please list your specific suggestions for accreditation (i.e. which courses at the host university should be recognized as which courses at the University of Konstanz) and attach the relevant evidence in a combined PDF file (transcript from the host university, current transcript of grades from the University of Konstanz, Learning Agreement, Confirmation of Stay, information on the type of examinations and content as well as on the awarding of credit points in third countries, etc.).
Request for recognition of credits for MA Sociology of Inequality students
On this page you can apply for the credit recognition of your study and examination achievements in the subject MA Sociology of Inequality by using the online form, e.g. after studying abroad. Recognition is only possible after returning from your host university.
You will need to upload your documents in electronic form (pdf, max. 3 MB):
- Transcript / certificate of the achievements to be recognized
- current transcript of records of the University of Konstanz
- for Erasmus+ also Confirmation of Stay
- The most recent version of the Learning Agreement
